Flat fire, Camelford

A fire crew from Wadebridge was called to an automatic fire alarm activation in Manor Gardens, Camelford. Following this, further calls reported a fire within a flat.

The incident was made ‘Persons Reported’ and additional resources from Bodmin, Launceston and Delabole were mobilised.

The crew arrived and discovered a fire in an upstairs flat. It was quickly established that all persons were accounted for. Firefighters in breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to fight the fire via a first floor window.

The fire was confirmed out by 7.13 pm.
