Festive Open Day at Norton Barton

On Saturday the 7th of December Norton Barton Artisan Food Village opens for a day of festive fun for all the family, with craft workshops, live music, warming food at the cafe, free tours of The Cornish Distilling Company’s distillery, and delicious seasonal cocktails.

Here’s what’s on:

The Distillery

There will be live music and 2 for £12 cocktails. The distillery will be open until 11 pm, with  free distillery tours: at 2 pm, 4 pm and 6 pm

Cocktail Masterclasses

Christmas cocktail masterclasses are the order of the day. With a maximum of 10 people per class, booking is highly advisable. Tickets are £15 per person and you can find all the info, along with tickets here.

Wreath making with Sue Read

£30 per person!. Running at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. All supplies are provided as Sue walks you through making your very own beautiful festive wreath, though you are encouraged to bring your own decorations to personalise your wreath.  Spaces are limited so booking advisable.

Straw glory braid making with Lucy Burrow

Running at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm, Lucy will talk you through the traditional craft of straw work as you learn how to make a Christmas Glory Braid. All materials will be provided. £10 per person. Limited spaces so booking advisable.

Ceramic workshop with Kitchen Front’s Clair Roberts

Walk-in between 11 am and 4 pm to make a beautiful Christmas themed ceramic gift for a loved one. Finished pieces will be taken away to be fired and will be available for collection from Clair’s workshop at the Barkhouse on the Quay.  £10 per head with a choice of ceramic items to decorate. All materials provided.

Mrs Claus’ biscuit decorating

This is a walk-in workshop from 11 am to 4 pm.  Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. £5 per child.

Christmas card and wrapping paper-making

This is a walk-in workshop from 11am to 4pm. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. £1 per child.
