Favourite Christmas Songs

It’s that time of year again when we ask if they know it’s Christmas while we stuff our faces, and ask for it to snow.

Anyway, in a rare moment of frivolity, I wondered what Christmas playlist I’d have if I had to compile one (though it still feels too early for me to be listening to Slade).

Here’s my list (not in any order) … and more than happy to share yours as we are in the festive season …

Fairytale of New York – Pogues with Kirsty McColl

2000 Miles – Pretenders

I Believe in Father Christmas – Emerson, Lake and Palmer

Thank God It’s Christmas – Queen

White Winter Hymnal – Fleet Foxes

Snow, Lights – Flora Cash

Winter Wonderland – Courteneers

Silhouette – Tom Odell

Christmas Wrapping – The Waitresses

Yes, it would be rather short … of course, I have to say that most of all I love listening to Handel’s Messiah which would add quite a bit of time on …

Anyone else got any favourites?
