From Devon & Cornwall Police:
At approximately 12.35am on Saturday 30th March 2019, police were advised of a three-vehicle collision that had occurred on the A30 eastbound carriageway, approximately two miles west of the Victoria Interchange in Mid Cornwall.
The collision involved a Renault Clio, an Audi A4 and an HGV. The driver of the Clio was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. The two occupants of the Audi were conveyed to Treliske Hospital with moderate injuries and the driver of the HGV was uninjured.
Specialist officers from the Devon and Cornwall’s Alliance Roads Policing Team attended the scene, along with a Forensic Collision Investigator and a Scenes of Crime Officer. A full investigation of the scene took place to establish the cause of this tragic collision.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the collision, or who may have any dash cam footage, to contact them on 101 quoting log number 32 of 30th March 2019.
