Award-winning composer and pianist Fabio D’Andrea has created a two-part video album, comprised of 24 original piano pieces, one in each key, in which Bude features.
Fabio d’Andrea’s latest music video, ‘The Sleeping Beauty’ (starring Hollyoaks actress, Emma Rigby) was released last Friday and features two stunning filming locations, the first of these being Bude’s very own seaside setting. The video is available to watch now above or via YouTube.
The story explores childhood dreams, dealing with grief and the importance of father-and-daughter relationships. The video captures Bude’s idyllic sea and countryside setting, paired with the beauty and romance of Burghley House near Stamford, Lincolnshire.
The video achieved international recognition prior to its release, winning ‘Best Music Video’ at the LA Shorts Festival when it was filmed. Since its release on Friday, it has been screened on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, where actress Emma Rigby spoke about the project as a guest on the show. You may also have heard Fabio’s song featured on BBC’s Radio Cornwall over the weekend.
Every piece has its own unique music video which features a famous guest actor who has a love for the arts, dance and music.
The videos have also featured dancers from The Royal Ballet, Rambert Dance Company, The London Contemporary Dance School, as well as leading hip-hop and commercial street-dance companies, all choreographed by some of the best UK choreographers. The first video from the series , ‘The Sleeping Beauty ‘, has showcased at numerous film festivals and has won over 20 international awards, winning at the prestigious LA Short Fest.
