Keep your diary free between the 18-27 February for Bude’s Feb Fest! A 10-day celebration of Bude’s food, community, coast and arts. Expect craft workshops, guided walks, live music, comedy, theatre and more… to welcome Bude’s community and visitors into the town.

Feb Fest will be a 10-day celebration (over the Feb half term) of local arts, food, the coast, environment and community projects with an aim to welcome back the Bude community into the town and encourage both residents and tourists to immerse themselves in various activities throughout the week.

FREE Headline Events

Keep your diary free for our four free main events

Saturday 19th at 3pm – Cobweb Tours historical theatrical walk through Bude.
Thursday 24th at 3pm – Minack Theatre’s family show of The Kiss That Missed.
Friday 25th at 7pm – Patrick Monahan Comedy Evening at the Parkhouse Centre.
Saturday 26th at 7pm – Live Music Evening with James Dixon and more acts!  

*On the door:  FREE tickets, subject to availability

Advance booking:  Whilst these events are FREE, we ask you to pre-purchase a £5 bar voucher.  Advance booking payments are fully refundable by notifying us of the cancellation seven-days before the event.  Should the event be cancelled (for whatever reason), a full refund will be issued.

Food Quarter

18th – 19th February:  5pm to 8pm

Location: The Triangle

Bude’s Triangle will transform into a bustling evening food market with stalls representing a taste of Bude. Enjoy food and drinks while listening to local Energia samba band, shanty singers and so much more.

Keep an eye on our social media as we recommend our favourite local restaurants who will be offering signature Feb Fest Set Menus for the duration of Feb Fest.


Arts Quarter

19th to 27th February

Location: Parkhouse Centre

There will be a range of workshops running throughout Feb Fest, tailored for both adults and children to pre-sign up and enjoy. From children’s robot building to a youth theatre program; adults jewellery making to craft weaving.

Take a trip to The Castle to view the exhibitions and Heritage Centre, or head towards the Lower Wharf and visit the arts and crafts shops. 


Coast Quarter

26th February 2022

Location: Bude Sea Pool & Crooklets  

Start your Saturday at Bude’s famous Sea Pool, where open water swimmers will encourage those brave enough for a morning dip. Children can choose between a free Swim Safe activity or the Wave Projects treasure hunt.

As the tide fills Summerleaze, watch the pros paddle out on surf kayaks to practice for the upcoming World Champs taking place later this year in Bude.

End the day taking part in a mass 2 Minute Beach Clean with the 2 Min Beach Foundation at Crooklets.


Community Quarter

19th to 27th February 2022

Location: The Wharf & Bude Town

Support established community projects which are running events over the course of Feb Fest, from The Kitchen Front’s ceramic painting to the Barrel’s Celtic tunes.
