Father Christmas and Mrs Christmas have crash-landed at Bedruthan this year while doing a test flight, after the near miss last year. The Cornish Elves are working very hard to get the sleigh up and running again. But upon landing all of the children’s gifts have fallen into the snow-covered trees, so they are in need of some helping hands to find them.
Little helpers will begin by meeting Father Christmas’ Nordic friends Tomte and Astrid, who are a little bit naughty, enjoy taking s’elfies and love nothing more than a bit of Tomte tomfoolery!
Everyone will then continue the fun in the labyrinth of ice caverns by playing with snow, throwing snowballs and making snow angels. There will also be the chance to get creative with the Cornish elves (who love to reuse and recycle) to create a gift to take home or perhaps to give to a friend.
In the Sugar and Spice Grotto, Father Christmas and Mrs Christmas will be waiting to greet visitors and hoping for some helping hands to find the presents. Whilst searching, little ones may even find a present that is meant for them. There will also be the opportunity for them to put a special Christmas wish on Mawgan, Bedruthan’s magical wishing tree.
Eve Butler, Brand Manager for Red Hotels, said: “We are so excited to have our Sugar and Spice Grotto filling our hotel again this year! Come and join us for a magical journey like no other with a selection of Cornish and Nordic friends too.
“It’s an enchanting experience that we hope both our visitors and guests will thoroughly enjoy.”
