Bude Together is all about informal networking, finding out what is going on in Bude, putting faces to names, looking for the potential for collaborations and joint working, encouraging people to join/support other groups and celebrating the wide range of community-centred activities and opportunities that exist here in Bude. Being at the meeting is the key thing. We will not be taking formal minutes or sending info out to those who sent apologies. It’s open to all community groups and members of the public who might be interested to hear about what is going on in their town.
There will be 6 x 5 minute slots, (which have all been allocated), followed by 10 x 1 minute slots (alloted on the night) and an opportunity to network.
That’s 15 opportunities for community groups to share info in just one hour!
Those with 5 x min slots may choose to speak for one minute and take questions for 4 mins or vice-versa. It is flexible but the timings will be strictly adhered to and the evening will be chaired.
Bude Together will run twice a year, April/May and September/October. The first event will be at The Parkhouse Centre in Bude on Wednesday 1st May, 18.30 to 20.00.
It is a free event organised by volunteers in collaboration with Neetside Community Centre. Donations for the cost of event and refreshments most welcome.
