11:00 AM - 4:00 PM
We are delighted to announce the date for our ninth annual Christmas Fayre – Sunday 2nd December, from 11am to 4pm. This year, the fayre will be hosted across both the Parkhouse Centre and The Castle in Bude.
The popular event – which is wholly organised and funded by Bude-Stratton Town Council – has grown year on year, and this year we are anticipating a great response from our town given the variety of attractions on offer. There are a whole heap of things to do and see, for the whole family to enjoy.
There is a big focus on children and families for the event this year – with Santa himself attending the fayre. Santa and his grotto will be based upstairs in The Castle, ready to meet both naughty and nice children. And, whilst children wait to meet him, they can post their Christmas wish list in the magic post box – which goes straight to North Pole.
Santa will be giving out wooden Christmas tree decorations that children can choose to decorate downstairs in The Castle’s arts and crafts room. Once decorated, you’ll have a lasting token and reminder of your day to show off proudly on your Christmas tree year after year!
Santa is also going to be announcing the winner of the ‘best decorated’ Christmas Tree competition – sponsored by our friends at Toymaster in Bude.
The Christmas fayre will continue over in the Parkhouse Centre, with plenty of stalls to browse, from a range of local businesses. So please do come on down and support local!
There will be live music too, with Christmas songs and carols, and if you’re hungry, there will of course be the usual mulled wine and mince pies, but also roasted horse chestnuts, and even stone baked pizzas!
*Mulled wine will be provided given you can provide identification to show that you’re over the age of 18.
