The Eden Project is closed to visitors until 5pm today (Saturday 15 December) due to flood water on the site after very heavy rain earlier. Eden apologises to visitors. Refunds or exchanges will be given to those who have booked. Managers are monitoring the situation closely and will update later today with news about re-opening. Please check their Facebook page or Twitter feed before setting off for the site and for updates.
There are also flood alerts in force for West Cornwall rivers, the River Plym and rivers to Exmouth.
