Drivers are not dreaming of a white Christmas

With Cross Country about to go on strike, and many people having to work on Christmas Eve, it seems that car will be the way many people have to travel this year to see their families, especially if journeys are long distance.

What concerns people most about driving at this time of year? Well, the RAC tells us that bad Christmas driving conditions are a fear for 59% of drivers, and forecasts are not looking great weatherwise in many areas. Fuel is at an all time high, too.

The main concerns are:

  1. Driving in bad weather – 59% of drivers
  2. High cost of filling up – 45%
  3. Getting stuck in Christmas traffic – 39%
  4. Increase in drink-drivers – 34%
  5. Driving in the dark because of the short days – 19%

Many drivers will be accompanied by music as they travel, so here are the top Christmas songs. Nothing unexpected here:
