Driver cut free at Stratton

At 2pm this afternoon, the Critical Control Centre received a call from South Western Ambulance Service, regarding a two vehicle road traffic collision at Stratton,  near Homeleigh Garden Centre, involving a car and a small van, which had left one person trapped.

Two appliances from Bude, the Rescue Tender from Bodmin and two Officers were mobilised to the incident. 12 firefighters attended in two appliances, along with a crew from Holsworthy.

Firefighters used Crash Rescue Equipment to release the casualty and remained on scene to make the vehicle safe. Police were also in attendance.
