Devon County Show

From Devon & Cornwall Police:

Devon and Cornwall Police staff and officers are getting ready for the Devon County Show, taking place between 17 and 19 May. Our staff and officers and police dogs will be in attendance and are ready to say hello and answer your questions.

Head to the police marquee – stand 438 on road 12 by the brown gate – for the opportunity to talk to local police officers, find out the best ways of contacting the police, learn more about how to stay safe online and meet the dogs.  Plus we have other surprises taking place throughout the day.

Our ever-popular police dogs and handlers will be demonstrating their skills in the Country Life Arena:

Thursday 17 May – 10.45am and 13.30

Friday 18 May – 12.00noon and 13.45

Saturday 19 May – 11 am

Before and after their demonstrations the police dogs will be on the stand to meet people and shake a paw.

Also at the police stand, you will be able to pick up some useful guidance from the team and speak to local officers about what matters to you in your community. We will also be on hand to offer up safety and crime prevention advice, plus you will have the chance to enter our competitions and tell us your opinions.

There is also the chance for the kids to enter a quiz. The star prize is the chance to spend a day with our police dogs. And don’t forget to pick up a goodie bag! We have different bags for young children, teenagers and adults.

Juliet and Bravo, our crime-fighting duo of mascots, will be on hand for photos and fun at various times during the day.

Kids, (and adults) will have the opportunity to get involved, dress up in a police uniform, take a selfie and share on our social media channels.

Keep up with us on social media on the day.
