It was lovely to pop to Northcott yesterday and partake in a cream tea at the Rustic Tea Garden. No queues but a steady stream of arrivals and departures …
Sharon and John are trying to keep it very much as it was in Margaret’s hands, so nothing much has changed apart from not hearing Margaret’s raucous laugh in advance of arrival! It is still a very chatty, friendly place, though.
We abided by the rules and did not use the seating. Also kept socially distant, and I’d taken my own hand sanitiser but there was plenty at the counter.
Lovely to have a cream tea again even in these socially distanced times. The beach was not busy, so a successful outing.
