Covid update for Cornwall/Devon

Currently, the estimated R number for South West 1.3 to 1.7 with a daily infection growth rate range of +6% to +11%  (as of 25 June 2021).

In the last 7 days, there have been two deaths in Cornwall among people who tested positive within the last 28 days. 1 person has been admitted to North Devon Healthcare.

As a whole, in the 7 days to 26th June, Cornwall had 925 cases of Covid-19, a rise of 68. Devon had 801, a rise of 365.

Bude remains at a number below 3, while Holsworthy, Bradworthy and Welcombe have 8. Crackington and Tintagel also have 8. Cases are dropping in the hot spots of St Ives and Falmouth.
