Covid update

The daily summary shows a drop in the number of people who have tested positive, at a national level (data for 30th January). The number of deaths has also dropped.

First dose: 8,378,940

0.8 to 1.1 with a daily infection growth rate range of -4% to +1% as of 29 January 2021.

In Bude & Stratton, 3 people tested positive in the 7 days to 24th January.

There was a drop in Cornwall of people testing positive, with the figure down to 123 on 30th January.  However, deaths in Cornwall have risen with 4 on 30th January, and 55 in the last 7 days (this is within 28 days of a positive Covid test).

Patients admitted to North Devon Healthcare (NDGH) was 1 for 30th January, and 7 in the last 7 days, a drop.

The interactive map shows that in the 7 days to 25th January, there were 1018 cases in Cornwall, a drop. Devon dropped to 843 cases. Torridge was down to 36 cases. Our area is looking good at the moment, so here’s hoping in lasts.
