Covid cases rise in Bude

While Covid cases had dropped in Cornwall as a whole in the 7 days to 19th December, where they went down to 2,722, they have risen in Bude which, once again, is a hotspot.

In the 7 days to 14th December, Bude and Stratton had 91 cases (well above the England average case rate per 100,000).

In Bude and Stratton, 87% of people have now had their first dose of the vaccine, 81.5% their second and 52.6% their third dose or booster.

Deaths within 28 days of a positive test within Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly had risen to 10.

Vaccines are still available locally.
