Covid cases dropping in SW

Despite me hearing of more people I know having Covid, it seems cases are dropping in the SW. However, there are still serious outcomes for some people.

In the 30 days to 30th October, 2342 cases were reported in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, a rate of 406.9 per 100,000 people.

The Devon cases for the same period were 3907, a case rate of 481.9.

269 new people had a confirmed positive test result reported on 4 November 2021.

Between 29 October 2021 and 4 November 2021, 2,285 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows a decrease of -10.8% compared to the previous 7 days.

Vaccinations in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly

Vaccines are currently given in 2 doses, at least 21 days apart.

446,276 people had been given a first dose by the end of 3 November 2021.

417,066 people had been given a second dose by the end of 3 November 2021.

Between 29 October 2021 and 4 November 2021, there have been 11 deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test. This shows an increase of 10.0% compared to the previous 7 days.

There were 0 deaths within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported on 4 November 2021.

Between 29 October 2021 and 4 November 2021, there have been 5 deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test. This shows an increase of 400.0% compared to the previous 7 days.
