The Public Health England map shows that Cornwall’s cases of Covid-19 are concentrated to the west and south of the county especially in areas like Pool and Illogan. Take a look for yourself using the link.
However, compared to other parts of the country, we are still relatively well off here.
The past seven days has recorded 187 new positive test results, which is a rise from 60 the previous week. Many of the new cases are linked to the outbreak at the Pilgrim’s Pride food factory, Pool, so that is a specific cluster.
There are currently no signs of Cornwall going into a local lockdown.
