Cornwall Council removing recycling bank at Summerleaze

Cornwall Council is removing its recycling banks from 65 sites across Cornwall.

These recycling banks were put in place before the introduction of household recycling collections. Recycling is collected from every household in Cornwall every two weeks.

They are not removing banks provided by supermarkets in their car parks. They are also not removing those at the 14 Household Waste and Recycling Centres.

If you’ve been using the recycling banks, please:

The Council’s Cabinet agreed to remove the banks at a meeting last year. If you’d like to know more, please read the minutes of the relevant agenda item.

The recycling bank at Bude Summerleaze will be removed at a date to be confirmed.
