Citizens Advice Launches Search for Volunteers in Bude

Citizens Advice Cornwall is looking to expand services in North Cornwall, where there is a strong demand for help with problems about debt, benefits and housing.

Chief Executive, Gill Pipkin, said:

“In order to help more people we desperately need more volunteers to act as advisers, administration assistants and help our research and campaign activities.

“No previous experience is required but you will receive thorough training and ongoing support.

“Our volunteers get great satisfaction helping other people find a way through their problems and being part of a friendly and positive team which is putting something back into the local community.”

Citizens Advice will be holding an informal information stand at Bude Library for anyone interested in learning more about volunteering opportunities and to have a chat with some of our existing volunteers.

Event details:

Wednesday 30 October – 9.30am to 1pm at Bude Library – drop in for a chat!
