Changes afoot for Stratton MIU?

Cornwall Reports, which has a very reasonable paywall, so I won’t ruin things for them by telling you everything here, has indicated that Stratton MIU could open on a 24-hour basis as an Integrated Urgent Care Service, forming an out of hours community treatment centre staffed by out-of-hours GPs trained to deal with minor injuries.

Apparently, a report is being considered by Cornwall Council, so if anyone in the know has any more information, please tell us at Bude & Beyond (budeandbeyond@gmail.com or comment on this post).

The news report says: The new model of healthcare would be tested in Bude until March 2020, with regular reviews to measure how often it was used.
