Two appliances from Bude with twelve firefighters on board attended a call to a caravan on fire in the early hours of this morning.
The caravan was well alight on crews arrival and all cylinders inside had blown. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a triple extension ladder to fight the fire.
The fire had spread from the caravan which measured 4 x 4 metres to an area of woodland measuring approximately 6 metres square.
Firefighters made good progress and removed the cylinders from the fire. On investigation, the cause of the fire was confirmed as accidental.
