Burglary at Kilk Co-op and car thefts that may be linked

From Devon & Cornwall Police:

Police are investigating car thefts and a burglary at commercial premises in the Bude area that are believed to be linked.

Between 2:50-3:20 am on Saturday 29 June, the offices of Southcott Car Specialists in Holsworthy were broken into and keys were stolen. Following this, a blue Ford Ranger and a silver Mercedes E-class were taken and four men fled the area with the two stolen cars as well as the car they arrived in, believed to be a white Volkswagen.

At around 4:25 am there was a burglary at the Co-Op store in Kilkhampton. It is believed that the suspects used a car to ram the front of the store; alcohol and other items were stolen from the store before the suspects fled the area in a second vehicle.

It is currently believed that these vehicles used within this ram-raid were the same cars stolen hours earlier.

Police are appealing for witnesses and would like to hear from anyone who may have any information in relation to either incident.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have CCTV footage from around the time of the incident that could be of use.
