Budehaven’s Tom and Liam heading for prestigious London courses


Budehaven Sixth Form students Tom Marples and Liam Drewery have an exciting time ahead of them. Both students are studying A Levels in ICT, Music and Media and have recently applied to university.

Tom has received a conditional offer to read in Composition BMus (Hons) at The Royal Academy of Music, London, the oldest conservatoire in the UK. Tom undertook a series of rigorous interviews and theory tests as well as writing an original composition.

Liam has an offer to read Creative Lighting Control BA (Hons) at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and performance, London’s International Drama School. At the interview, Liam showed his portfolio and discussed his interest in the industry.

Budehaven Sixth form is very proud of both the boys’ achievements and wishes them all the best in the future. Seventy-five students have applied to university, most receiving some excellent offers.
