Last weekend, Bude surfer, Emily Currie, participated in the annual Jesus Surf Classic series, held at Croyde Bay, North Devon.
It was a tough competition as the conditions were very challenging.
However, Emily won all her heats throughout the day, where, in the final, she scored an excellent 8 point ride (out of 10) to secure her win, being her 3rd women’s title in this event.
This competition offered equal prize money for both the men’s and women’s categories, so here is a photo of Emily with her well-deserved cheque.
Emily is in Snowdonia this coming weekend, hoping to retain her title there. Go, Emily!
