Bude & Stratton Town Council reject boat proposal

The planning committee of Bude & Stratton Town Council decided ‘no’ to the planning application to moor a large ship on Bude Canal, but of course, the decision is now with Cornwall Council.

At a meeting on 31st January at the Parkhouse Centre, councillors decided against. Objections were based around the effects on the working harbour, though some councillors, such as Cllrs Willingham and Bryson, liked the idea in principle. More details here.
