Bude Royal Naval Association recruitment

By Bob Gelder:

It is totally true to say, that the Royal Naval Association (and in particular) Bude Branch has been somewhat restricted over the past several months.

We’ve been in the familiar “Lockdown” and last met up within The Falcon Hotel in September, 2020.    But we are still here – and we’ve increased in numbers.

With improved connections with Bideford SCC, and local Associates joining, our latest “recruit” is an ex-Rear Admiral, who also happens to be Vice Pres. of CPRE (Campaign for Preservation of Rural England – Devon Branch).    Naturally, as a Branch of R.N.A., we look anxiously forward to our next Branch Meeting – could that be as early as June or July?

You will be advised as soon as possible.   Whenever that occurs, the “Raffle” will be voluntary contributions, the “Tot” will be complimentary, your attendance will be warmly welcomed as always!
In the meantime, observe the rules please – the little b’std is still out there, even though the S.W. has been relatively well treated.    Stay SAFE!
Individual documentation will be distributed as soon as possible including new membership cards.
Have a look on the internet as regards CPRE – this organisation may well support your views re solar panels, wind turbines etc.
