Bude remains a ‘cluster’ as Covid cases rise

Compared to other parts of the country, Covid cases in Bude are still very low, but they are rising, and Bude remains a dark blue cluster on the map.

Rates in Cornwall are still comparatively low. However, the rules of social distancing, face covering, and today’s added one of ventilation still apply.

The interactive map lists 33 cases in Bude in the 7 days to November 12th, up 19 or 135.7%

Although we are now in the middle of restrictions, nationally and locally it is difficult to know the impact of it yet.

In Cornwall as a whole, figures are at 496 cases for the last 7 days to 17th November, with 9 deaths.

Patients admitted to hospital in the south-west as a whole is 847 in the 7 days to 15th November (up 139, 19.6%). Please note, the SW is a wide area including places like Bristol.
