Congrats to Bude photographer, Chris Small, of Ocean and Earth Photography, who was definitely in the right place at the right time for this image of a fireball over Bude.
On his Instagram page, Chris says “it was a random occurrence, not associated with any meteor shower. It was roughly the size of a beach ball and it was travelling at a velocity of around 15-20km per second over the Bristol Channel.
Here it is featured in The Telegraph yesterday. Well done, Chris. The image is amazing.
