Bude is now considered a Covid ‘hotspot’.

Firmly in the purple zone, the number of Covid cases in Bude for the 7 days ending 19th October has grown to 117.

This is a rolling rate of 1,103.9 per 100,000, which is well above the England average.

However, information for Cornwall to 24th October shows a decrease in cases, with a rate per 100,000 down to 539.9.

Deaths and hospital admissions have increased in Cornwall and North Devon.

Usual common sense applies: wear masks in crowded places, socially distance if you can, and if you feel ill make sure you test yourself. Keep safe.
