These proactive business meetings, organised by Debbie Cousins of Bude Works, have proven extremely popular among the local business community.

They are open to all Bude businesses and, thanks to the generosity of the hosts, the events are free to attend.

The aim of the regular meetings is to bring together a range of businesses and communities in the Bude area, with a view to building local sustainable businesses, promoting local employment, and matching needs with skills. Established and new businesses alike benefit from the meetings; it has been heartening to see new businesses developing in recent months, for whom the meetings have been invaluable in helping them to quickly establish a presence in the town.

The meetings have grown organically and are a great way to promote goods and services, while also developing skills – matching to take advantage of opportunities for the benefit of local people.
