Bude Coastguard Rescue Officer will be at the Cenotaph in November

Bude Coastguard Rescue Team is very proud to once again have a member of their team chosen to represent Her Majesty’s Coastguard at the Cenotaph in London for Remembrance Day this November.

Coastguard Rescue Officer (and former Paratrooper) Jeremy Thomson was picked from hundreds of applicants for a second time, having previously represented HM Coastguard at the ceremony in 2016, and is the only CRO from the Westcountry to have been chosen.

Mr Thomson will once again spend the preceding days at the HM Coastguard Training Centre at Daedalus in Lee On Solent alongside the handful of other successful applicants, where formal training for the ceremony will take place.
