Info from Bude CRT Facebook:
Bude Coastguard Rescue Team (CRT) were called to Crooklets Beach by Falmouth Coastguard Operations Centre at around 6pm on 4th September, following the report of a male bodyboarder who had been swept onto rocks.
As the team made their way to the incident from the station, the casualty was assisted out of the water by an off-duty member of Bude Surf Life Saving Club.
Once the Rescue Team had arrived on scene, advice was passed to the casualty to attend Stratton Minor Injuries Unit in case of any subsequent complications.
On 5th September, Bude CRT were again paged at around 6pm, sent to Crackington Haven Surf club, following a report of a young child suffering from a head injury after a fall, and with no ambulance currently available to attend the incident.
Just as the team approached Crackington Haven, they were informed by Falmouth Coastguard Operations Centre that an ambulance had become available and paramedics were now on scene with the child.
