Bude area Covid update

The good old interactive map for the 7 days to 23rd November shows Bude Covid cases at 22, a rolling rate of 206.2. A reminder that the rolling rate is the number of cases and associated deaths from COVID-19 per 100,000 for a seven-day rolling period ending on a particular date. This gives Bude an average daily rate of around 20. Cornwall may be tier 1 but Bude’s rate is more akin to tier 3, so don’t relax just yet!

For the same period:

  • Poundstock and Kilkhampton wider area 7 cases, rolling rate of 92.6
  • Holsworthy, Bradworthy and Welcome 7 cases, rolling rate of 69.1
  • Camelford, Launceston, Tintagel, and Crackington – rates low so suppressed data
  • Hartland Coast 14 cases, rolling rate of 215.1
  • Bideford south and east 13 cases, rolling rate of 105.1

Cornwall’s overall figures are 290, a rolling rate of 50.7, well below average for the UK

Devon’s are 741, a rolling rate of 92.4, also below average

Torridge is on 64, a rolling rate of 93.7 below average
