There will also be the opportunity to try a new skill with their drop-in creative workshops. Learn how to make a willow Christmas tree decorations with Lin Lovekin Baskets using locally sourced willow as a plastic-free alternative.

Throughout the fair, there will be the chance to win a bundle of beautiful prizes from the fair’s exhibitors worth over £500 – including laser etched enamel mug and a framed print from Jago Illustrations, a yak wool wrap from Blossom Clothing Cornwall, a gin flight from Mother’s Ruin 1751 and much more! Look out for the competition at the entrance to the fair to enter.

Visitors are also welcome to dine in the Wild Café or the Herring restaurant, make use of Bedruthan’s drop-in childcare and face painting sessions, as well as browse the Create shop and art gallery.

This year Bedruthan has partnered up with Cornwall Christmas Box, a charity that encourages people to donate a Christmas dinner food box to help families in need during the festive period. Cornwall Christmas Box will be at the fair to share information about the cause and answer any questions.

Eve Butler, Brand Manager for Red Hotels, said: “We can’t wait to start the festivities off at the hotel by holding our annual Christmas Fair. And we are excited to be partnering with such a great cause as Cornwall Christmas Box.

“It’s a great day out for friends and families and the perfect opportunity for people to buy gifts for loved ones that they will treasure forever.”

The fair is curated by Duchy Fairs, who create wonderful public fairs across Cornwall. Each fair has a unique concept and they promote the value of buying from independent businesses.

Parking at the hotel is limited, but there will be a free shuttle service provided by Newquay Lions Club from Mawgan Porth Village car park to the hotel throughout the weekend.

Bedruthan’s Christmas Fair will be taking place on November 24 and 25 from 10 am until 4 pm. Tickets cost £1.50 and can be bought on the door on the day.

Workshops are available at any time during the fair and cost £5 each including all the materials. Drop-in childcare and face painting will also be available throughout the fair, subject to availability, and will be by donation.
