No Boundaries are a locally based group of enthusiastic, multimedia textile artists who meet regularly to share and develop their techniques and ideas. This exhibition draws on their experiences from both childhood to present day. Free entry.
Bude Art Society meets regularly on a Thursday afternoon at the Parkhouse Centre to share ideas and encourage each other in their art. They hold two exhibitions a year, the main one being at The Castle. Free entry.
5th October – 24th October 2019 Jessica Campbell-Plover, Lynda Powney and Sam Horton of Granite and Glitter unite with a vision of bringing alternative art to North Cornwall. Each artist represents their distinctive styles through a variety of mediums, creating fresh and exciting work that offers up something unique. Free entry.
5th October – 24th October 2019 The romance of the sea, the hidden treasure represented by Silver Darlings and the ever-changing contrast of colour and texture, energises Penny to create pictures using appliqué, free-motion machine embroidery and quilting. Free entry.
26th October – 14th November 2019 This diverse collection of felt pictures and hangings is inspired by the natural world. The use of organic materials allows the creation of soft textures and fluid lines, mirroring nature itself. Free entry.
16th November – 5th December 2019 Oil paintings on the theme of life, the history of Bude and that of its surroundings. Martin will be looking inland, so not a wave in sight. Free entry.
16th November – 5th December 2019 There is no discernible theme to Paul’s photographs. He is as stimulated by a dramatic West Country seascape as he is by a lonely figure on the streets of Soho. Whilst having a great fondness for B&W he is very happy working in colour when it would seem eccentric not to. Free entry.

Exploring ideas of identity and feeling, and with an expressive use of colour, Johanna looks to capture the space between the internal and external experience. Free entry.

28th March – 16th April 2020 Emma has always been passionate about horses and has owned, ridden and painted them since childhood. Her interest stems from a desire to capture and recreate their beauty, strength and grace. The bonds that can be forged between human and horse have been depicted in art throughout history. Emma wishes to explore these bonds and the empathy we share with the horse. Free entry.
28th March – 16th April 2020 Exploring the wide-open spaces of North Cornwall’s beautiful coast. Vibrant and richly textured, this series of paintings by local mixed-media artist Anita Langham celebrate the sunshine and sunsets, the storms and stillness of this wonderful land. Free entry.
