The Met Office has put a yellow weather warning in place which warns us that:
Over most of Wales, Devon and Cornwall the worst of the weather will have cleared by mid-afternoon whilst further east the worst conditions are likely to be during the afternoon and early evening.
This wet weather, meanwhile, will be accompanied by windy conditions with gusts in exposed coastal locations around 50-65 mph which means that some coastal routes,
- Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely.
- Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer.
- Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer.
