All adults can now book a Covid vaccine

Compared to many places, Cornwall has seen low levels of Covid-19 and its potentially fatal results. Many people in Bude may not know anyone who has had the virus. Some even refuse to believe it is real.

For anyone with relatives in the cities, however, it is a different story, with some cities/towns currently experiencing surges. Bude must bear in mind that many people from urban areas will visit Cornwall this summer; indeed, tourism depends upon it. It makes sense to have as much protection as possible – which is via the vaccine.

All over-18s in England are to be invited to receive coronavirus vaccines from today.

Mr Hancock said that the move came as the UK passed the milestone of giving a first dose of vaccine to four out of five adults.

You can book your vaccine here, when the site is updated, from today.

In the 7 days to 12th June, the interactive map has shown a large rise in cases in Cornwall. The 411 cases is a rise of 367 or 834.1%

Neighbouring Devon also had a rise: 190 cases, up 113 (146.8%).
