Winds are playing havoc. Late this morning on the A388, Lezant area, Launceston, a high voltage cable was found lying across the main road. Firefighters assisted Western Power to make the scene safe.
At 1.10 pm, it was estimated that the A388 in the Lezant area will remain closed for at least three hours.
Another collapsed electricity cable has occurred at Coronation Park, Wadebridge.
