A Potter by #Bude Canal
Pottered is the word today. Decided to heed the advice of Rob Wilcox, so I can blame him for doing very little work today. However, I also saw a hare (amazing) alongside some tiny ducklings and a heron. I listened to lambs and sheep bleating, and to incessant birdsong. I said hello to all sorts of people with all sorts of accents, I walked to Budehaven through town, popped in a few shops, and had a lovely double scoop ice cream from Lansdown, so all in all, a grand first half of my day! Here’s a few pix from my phone, taken in a leisurely manner.

What is the history of these buildings at Crooklets?
Please can you ask on Your local history page, what the history is of these two buildings at Crooklets? I believe the one to the far left is called Ocean House. The reason I’m interested is because the old Penarvor Hotel has sadly been demolished next door.
