A Potter by #Bude Canal
Pottered is the word today. Decided to heed the advice of Rob Wilcox, so I can blame him for doing very little work today. However, I also saw a hare (amazing) alongside some tiny ducklings and a heron. I listened to lambs and sheep bleating, and to incessant birdsong. I said hello to all sorts of people with all sorts of accents, I walked to Budehaven through town, popped in a few shops, and had a lovely double scoop ice cream from Lansdown, so all in all, a grand first half of my day! Here’s a few pix from my phone, taken in a leisurely manner.
- Phenomenal noisy sheep! (lovely)
- Lock gates
- Grasses and sheep
- From the Weir
- Lovely house canal side, but had urge to get Edward Scissorhands in to make the bushes messier!
- Spotted this walking to Budehaven – never noticed it before
- Milestone
- Men at work…
- Irises and fluffy things! ???
- Lock gate seen through spider web!
- Yes, prices have risen since I took this photo
- Mallards and duckling
- More irises…
- Only had phone, ducklings very tiny but not enough zoom
