Superheroes in Action at Budehaven Sports Day
During the morning session pupils battled in 3 team sports: Football on the astro, Indoor Volleyball and Rounders on the playground. The level of competition was incredibly high and each form produced well balanced sides that competed both with respect and determination. Noticeable mention has to go to tutor group 10 JSW who all arrived dressed as Superheroes. Their enthusiasm just added to the celebratory atmosphere to the day.
At lunchtime the traditional sports ended and the students returned to find a plethora of inflatable fairground activities to get stuck in to. All the equipment was provided by South West Bouncy Castles who delivered and assembled everything on site. Their help and support was greatly appreciated.
Activities included, Bungee Running, Gladiator Pugilists, Sumo Wrestling as well as tug of war and sack racing. At the end of the day when all the points from the sports had been counted it was the Superhero Form 10 JSW who came out as winners.
