400k people head to Cornwall

Cornwall Live has reported that around 400,000 people will be heading for Cornwall this weekend and into half-term, as the tourist season is kickstarted.

Reports of fine weather have encouraged weekend trippers and the tourist board is reporting a surge in bookings as foreign travel remains decidedly uncertain.

May 29th – 7th June period will be busy, as The Independent reports. The RAC, as we reported earlier, has also predicted an extra 3.6 million car journeys this weekend in the UK.

Great news for local tourism businesses and hospitality.

Also great weather predicted for those of us staying at home doing some work or chores …
