Following two successful Summer Camps in Dorset in 2015, and on the Isle of Wight in 2016, they are setting their sights further afield, and hope to be able to go to either Iceland or Norway in 2018, and experience the Northern Lights amongst many other exciting adventures.
The Scouts are now embarking on a period of fundraising to support this ambition. The Christmas ScoutPost is the launchpad for their fundraising, and we hope that as many people as possible use the ScoutPost service to support them.
This year, let a Scout deliver your Christmas Cards to Bude, Stratton, Poughill, Flexbury and Marhamchurch for only 25p (less than half the price of a second class stamp!).
Stamps will be available for sale from this weekend (19/20 November) from the following locations:
New Life Centre
Bude Infant & Junior Schools
Budehaven Community School
Bullers Arms, Marhamchurch
Bude Garden Machinery, Flexbury
Marhamchurch Primary School
Marhamchurch Village Shop
ScoutPost boxes will be available at all the above locations, plus Morrisons.
Please ensure that you include a full postal address including postcode on any card, to make it as easy as possible for us to deliver. Last collection from ScoutPost boxes will be on Friday 16 th December, and all your cards will be delivered before Christmas.
The Scouts would like to thank all the businesses and organisations who are supporting us by selling stamps and/or hosting ScoutPost boxes. A special thank you is due to TSB who have generously supported us in setting up and promoting the ScoutPost service this year.
